Not only is there a ski resort close by (well three hours by train or bus), but this ski resort also doubles as a summer resort when the weather gets better (like, duh). ^^
And it gets better!
The place (Yabuliski) also features summer toboggan runs! Yup, like in Megeve for those who've been. Only these summer runs are, first of, "built with German techniques" (Ooooh ^—^) but they are MOST IMPORTANTLY, the longest in the world!! That's 48 turns and 2680 meters of pure sliding bliss.
Can't wait to go!
Oh the resort also has a rec center with "inside facilities including [among others] Finland sauna surfing ponds, messaging bathing rooms, [and ] snowman bars" whatever these all are
